  Dr. Mark Bowman

  Dr. Mark Bowman has had the pleasure of practicing dentistry in eastern North Carolina for over 33 years years. In 1982, he received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology, followed by his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986. Dr. Bowman is actively involved in many relevant organizations including current memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, 5th District Dental Society, and the Flying Dentist Association. He is a Lifetime Member of the Dental Alumni Association at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Throughout his career, continuing education has been a focal point for Dr. Mark Bowman. His commitment is evident in the numerous classes and certification courses he completes each year, to ensure state-of-the-art technology and technique benefits his patients and his practice. Dr. Bowman’s dedication to public awareness is evident in his participation in a local television station’s weekly program that provides total health dentistry education and outreach to a diverse viewer group.

  Dr. Jamison Padgett

  Dr. Jamison Owens Padgett is a native of Eastern North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Carolina University in 1999. Following graduation, she attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky, where she received her DMD degree. Dr. Padgett is a member of the American Dental Association, the NC Dental Society, and the American Orthodontic Society. With a dedication to continuing education, Dr. Padgett regularly attends courses in orthodontics and endodontics, as well as laser, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry. Her certifications include Invisalign Premier Provider, Six Month Smiles Orthodontics, The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, ACLS, sedation dentistry, and is an accredited provider for the LANAP procedure.

  Dr. John Hoggard

  Dr. John Hoggard is proud to be native of Greenville, NC. After graduating from Arendell Parrot Academy, he attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he graduated with a BS majoring in Biology. He returned to Greenville where he obtained his Master’s Degree from East Carolina University in Biology. He then attended East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his DMD and received an Endodontic Achievement Award at graduation. Dr. Hoggard is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Hoggard enjoys the positive impact that practicing dentistry has on his patients. Helping others improve their oral health, thereby improving their overall health, wellness, and self-confidence is important to him.

  Dr. Taylor E Humphreys

  Dr. Taylor Evans Humphreys was born and raised here in Greenville. She received a BS in dentistry from the University of NC at Chapel Hill where she also received her DDS degree in 1997. Dr. Humphreys was in private practice with her husband for many years before taking some time off to raise her three children, Lauren Taylor (20), Grant (18), and Hayden (16). She later became an associate professor at the ECU School of Dentistry which presented an opportunity for her to serve a fellow dentist by continuing his practice in Washington, NC for a couple of years while his son finished dental school. Dr. Humphreys came to Bowman, Padgett and Associates in June of 2017 and specialist in diagnosis and treatment planning in the hygiene program.
